Endodontic
therapy is commonly referred as Root
Canal Therapy (RCT). It is a
sequence of treatment for the pulp of a
tooth which has been infected over a period
of time. It involves the elimination of
infection and protection of the
decontaminated tooth from future microbial
invasion. The procedure consists of
cleaning, shaping and decontamination of the
infected pulp chamber inside the tooth with
the use of tiny instruments and irrigating
solutions and the filling of the
decontaminated root canals with an inert
filling. The surgery is almost painless as
it is done under local anesthesia. After the
surgery the tooth will be "dead" and
painless. It generally requires more than
one visit. However, we also perform
single-sitting Root Canal Therapy in
certain cases.
We implement the most stringent
sterilization procedures which are
crucial to treatment success. To know more
