Dr. Arun was my professor and he was a star doctor of our orthodontic department! Naturally i approached him for my Ortho treatment. My case was complicated, rigid and i was never comfortable showing my teeth during a picture or also while laughing! Since a year I’m showing off my big perfect molar to molar smile just because of his magical skills! The staff in the clinic is very pleasant and they make sure that you are comfortable during your visit. I had excellent experience during my Ortho treatment including inspiring talks with Arun sir about his passion for travel and adventure! I would positively recommend Fort dental to everyone out there!

Approached Dr. Arun to consult for my bite issues and the suggested procedure had me slightly confused but the transparency with which he explained it to me and the treatment that followed, I couldn’t be more content with the results. Treatment involved a lot of orthodontic adjustments and a BSSO surgery and occasionally seeing Dr. Ahilya for some help with the treatment and especially towards the end after the braces were removed. Great place, staff and an overall commitment to the patient above everything else. Even got my younger brother to start his orthodontic treatment here. 🙂

I moved countries several times during the two and a half years that I wore braces and found myself without a regular orthodontist, so while I was in India on holiday it made sense to finish the treatment and have them removed.
Having dental treatment can be a stressful experience for many, and I admit that even at age 33, I still hold an extreme phobia of dentists! The anxiety was made worse being in another country and having no one to recommend (or warn against!) various clinics and dentists. It’s not like getting a bad haircut which can just grow back: these are my teeth for life! However a wire had come loose and I needed treatment fast, so I did all that I could do: search the internet for an orthodontist who was local to the area in Mumbai in which I was staying, and hope for the best!
I made an appointment at Fort Dental Clinic, and was pretty dubious about the clinic as I entered a fairly run-down building. Going up a dilapidated stairwell, I was just about to turn around when I opened the door and discovered an absolute first rate modern dental clinic.
I was extremely impressed by the level of professionalism, cleanliness as well as the friendly and honest service I received. Not once did they try and ‘upsell’ me by recommending further or unnecessary treatment. Dr Arun Nayak kept me informed of all my options and let me decide what was best for me. He accurately estimated the time it would take to do the work, and scheduled appointments for me around my existing holiday plans. Most importantly I felt that he sincerely cared about me as a patient and the quality of the orthodontic treatment he gave me above all else, and in India this is indeed a rare thing! Dr Ahilya Nayak cleaned and polished my teeth meticulously and repaired a tooth and filling that I broke whilst in India. The treatment received, both orthodontic and dental, was nothing short of outstanding and was done at a very reasonable price.
Fort Dental Clinic exceeded my expectations and did a magnificent job. I would go as far to say that the care that I received there would be comparable (and perhaps even better!) than what I would have had back home in New Zealand. As a result of my experiences I would not hesitate in recommending their services to others, both locals and tourists, and if I find myself back in Mumbai in the future I would definitely go back!

Since my regular dentist has now pushed me on to his assistant, my daughter suggested I try her young friend who has newly opened up her practice. Fort Dental Clinic was a pleasant experience right from the moment I went past the door. The spacious airy and clean spartan look, the cheery bright orange chair and the strategically placed television was a welcome change from the hole in the wall my old dentist called his clinic. There were more surprises in store for me : a comfortable , uncluttered waiting area and an invitation to enjoy some tea and biscuits before the doctor got her drill into my mouth. Of course, the best part was the dental care – a light hand and just the right amount of chatter to make you feel comfortable. For the people who work at Fort, this would be just the place to run to during lunch hour to get that old cavity seen to!!

I visited Fort Dental clinic to get a general check-up and cleaning done. The clinic is located very conveniently off a main road and I found the ambience pleasing and tasteful. I was taken in almost immediately and was attended to very efficiently. Both the Doctors at the clinic are friendly and make you feel at home.
